I have a soft heart for homeless... Gave a homeless old man 5 dollars this morning and he got teary eyed and said he was going to McDonalds to get food and hot coffee. He started packing up his stuff and for some reason I decided to give him a ride... It was cold (8 degrees)and foggy this morning and Jasper didnt growl or act crazy so I felt safe. He went to McDonalds and got him self the biggest coffee and a breakfast sandwich! Before I saw him I was going to get McDonalds for myself but he needed it more than me. I could go home and find food. I am betting he was a retired vet and our men and woman who fought and put their life on the line for us and our freedom SHOULD NOT be homeless and feeling the need to beg for food!! What is wrong with our society and our government, why is this acceptable because it is NOT acceptable to me! If I was to win the mega lottery I would be helping these men to get their life together and off the streets! Ugh feeling emotional now
