I have a story to share: A True Gift of Compassion! John, the family and I enjoy visiting a local business in Ponca City. While visiting, the last couple times we have noticed a gentleman who has hit hard times making his rounds. Due to confidentiality, I will not give names. This certain individual came in and sat down. The waitress made her way to assist him with a drink and a meal. Today we questioned. John asked her if she could give us any information about how this was to be. She proceeded to tell us that the restaurant has caught plenty heat from the surrounding community but for the last seven years they have grown to helping this gentleman. He has only missed a total of ten visits due to health. John proceeded to talk to the manager, in which he became concerned. John reassured him that as long as this restaurant continued to show heart that they would continue to receive our business. It does my heart good to know that even though we are a dying breed, there are still those who contain the same traits when it comes to caring. Kuddos to this restaurant, its owner, and the staff for providing this gentleman with shelter, food, and loving warmth! May God Bless you and may you succeed through everything in life!
