I have a story to tell, there was a young woman that had only 3 dollars on her, she was walking to a store near her house to buy her child some milk, well as she was entering the store a man dropped a wallet, she picked it up and noticed a lot of money inside. she waited till the man got out of site went over by the carts and looked inside it was hundreds of dollars. she got excited knowing she didnt have much money and now she could buy food. well she went shopping filling her cart but started feeling a little guilty, it was like the devil on one shoulder an angel on the other, battling back and forth. as she was heading to the checkout she passed the man and noticed he had his cart filled to the rim with food and toys, now her being a christian and also a parent, it hit home it hit her hard... she was taking food from a child.. she stopped her cart right there grabbed just the milk and went over to the man and said sir you dropped this. she handed him the wallet and took off real fast before he had a chance to thank her. she paid for the milk and left. about an hour later and an hour of her asking herself and god if she did the right thing and an hour of crying knowing she could of used that money, there was a knock at her door, she opened it and it was the man from the store. she was shocked as he introduced himself. "hi my name is pastor jones, a friend of mine from church gave me your address and told me you were in need of some food and items for your child" she started crying and thanking him over and over as he brought up bag after bag of food and toys and necessity items. before he left she broke down told him how she was going to keep the money but its not what god would of wanted so she returned it. well they sat and talked for hours. the pastor remembered the saying give a man a fish feed him for a day give a man feed him for life. well the young lady now works at the church he pastors at and now makes enough money to feed her child. god works in mysterious ways may i get an amen?
