I have a surround sound system. A Yamaha receiver. It has 5.1 Dolby digital surround. Component and optical inputs. It does not have hdmi. I bought this at best buy about 7 yrs ago. I also have a JBL sub and 6 speakers that go along with it. Including the cord for the subwoofer. I lost the remote for the receiver. Ive used this for many years without issue.
