I have a very heavy heart this evening. One of my very dear friends Mandi Whitson passed away early this morning. She had a gypsy soul and was one of the most amazing women I have ever known. On my 18th birthday I had not a single friend to celebrate with and when Mandi heard about this at 10:30pm she rushed over told me to put on my dancing shoes and shoved me out the door. That was the first time of many that I danced till I thought my feet would fall off. Club 5, the Metro and gosh I cant think of the place downtown, but the point is she was always there for me through thick and thin. Rest easy Mandi, you are loved and missed. Till we meet again...
