I have a very special prayer request. As most of you know I was scheduled to have the brain surgery for Parkensons this past week, however, it had to be cancelled because I was diagnosed with breast cancer. A mysectomy was supposed to be done in a couple of weeks. The mysectomy has been cancelled for now because of further findings. I had several scans this past week to make sure the cancer had not spread. The CT scan showed spots on my lungs and liver which is suspicious for cancer. I will begin chemotherapy this week. If the spots decrease in size with the chemotherapy treatment, this will confirm that it is cancer and I will be in stage four of the cancer. There is no cure and the mysectomy will not be done. It will be up to God as to what my future will be. The next few weeks wii be very hard for me and my family. My heart breaks because of the pain this is causing them. Please say a special prayer for each of them. As for me, I have the peace of God surrounding me which makes it possible for me to continue with life one day at a time. Someone asked me if I was angry with God for all the sickness I have been through. My answer is absolutely not. God is my strength and help during all this. I could not imagine going through this without Him being by my side. I would like to encourage each of you to take every opportunity to spend time with your family and let them know how much you love them. I can look back at all the years that I have been able to make memories with Teddy and the kids and grandkids, nothing can take those memories away. I am so thankful that I took every opportunity to spend time with them. We have no promise of tomorrow. I never thought in a million years that I would be facing something like this. Once I begin the chemotherapy I will be limited to how often I will be able to attend church because of my immune system. i really need your prayers on this because our church family is my support system. I love all of you. Please pray that God will give me the strength to face whatever comes my way. ONE DAY AT A TIME SWEET.JESUS.......
