I have absolutely no use or compassion for grasshoppers as those close to me know, especially Shelby Schmidt who shares the same dislike for them as I do. With that said I feel as though there is some sort of grasshopper epidemic, they are so thick on the highway it sounds like you are going down a gravel road as they hit the bottom of the car. I can deal with the ones on the highway but as you can see by these photos they are all over my deck. I went out to feed Sopie and the foxes and ended squealing and doing the grasshopper jig at which point Tippy one of my foxes began squeaking really loud and chasing her tail...I am pretty sure she was trying to show me how ridiculous I looked!!!!!! Ughhhhh Grasshoppers!!
