I have acquired some old instruction booklets. They contain things - TopicsExpress

I have acquired some old instruction booklets. They contain things I can add to the All Gauge Page, as their copyrights were never and can never be renewed (they were copyrighted under the old law by entities that no longer exist). What I hope to do in the coming weeks is re-scan images in a larger, clearer size to replace those in the O / O27 Instructions I have on the site. I have to remark that the original Lionel was a prodigious publisher of hobby information. The folks who put it together were pure genius. Clear illustrations and text, good information in a concise format and superb instructions on everything from wiring and track planning to accessories and scenery. Much of it applies as much today as it did back then. Several manufacturers produced things to support the O and O27 gauge hobby. Along with trains, Marx had its own range of accessories - operating and otherwise - plus plastic buildings and related items. Lionel made some trackside things, as well. Plasticville by Bachmann offered a great assortment of buildings and structures that are still sold today. Well, I have a lot of work to do. Hopefully I can get those online instructions up to snuff in two or three weeks. I also have to write step-by-step instructions for HO and N scale. Then it is the problem of posting some layouts that I never got around to setting up. That may take some time. It all has to be done. I want to make the All Gauge Page better, easier to use and give it more resources for hobbyists.
