I have almost 3/4 of a million safe driving miles and it almost ended tonight because some dummy (and that is putting it nicely!) decided that they wanted an exit at the last minute. This person was in the lane to my left and cut right in front of me with my gross weight being 75,000lbs (like i can stop on a dime) slammed on his brakes to take the exit in the lane to my right (which had slower traffic) I had to slam on my brakes because he almost came to a complete stop!! I came within a foot of rear ending him and of course if I would have hit him if a witness did not come forward it probably could have been put as my fault! I was so shaken I stopped at a rest area a couple miles down the road to compose myself. I pride myself in being a safe driver so from here on out I will post a safety reminder as just a thought for everyone to consider. If it sparks conversation than great! If I can help people be aware or @ least remind you to make better driving decisions than I have accomplished what I aim for. I go through training 4 times a year, The average car driver never gets a refresher. Lets drive safe!!
