I have always been Clumsy and today it paid off. Heres what happened. While I was walking out of a retail store I heard what appeared to be a man crying and saying leave me alone. I walk around to the back of the building and see two older teenage boys flashing a cell phone at the young man that seemed to have some sort of mental challenges (forgive me for describing him like that as I dont know the proper name of his condition) . I yelled at them asking what was going on and was told to f%^k off and mind my own business. I go up to the 2 teenagers and tell them to stop what they were doing as it was making the young man upset.One of them then started flashing the light right in my face. So me being Clumsy I ACCIDENTALLY knock the flashing light/phone that was shoved in my face out of the teenagers hand and it fell to the ground. Now as you know when you get a light shined in your eyes it takes a minute for your eyes to adjust ,in that time I ACCIDENTALLY step on the phone TWICE,pretty well destroying it. I then regained my balance and walked over and checked on the young man just as his dad comes running around the corner yelling his name ,(dad had left him in the car but he decided to go for a walk because he knew the two boys from his neighbourhood) ,then the two boys mom appears from nowhere and I have to explain to them all what just happened. The mom starts to flip out demanding that I pay for the kids cell phone or she will call the cops. The young mans dad told her to go ahead and call the cops and he would gladly tell them what her kids were doing to his son. Swearing ,she puts the two boys in her car a drives off, not even making them apologize to the young man. The dad thanked me for being clumsy .
