I have always been aware of the dangers that my husband could face being a police officer, but I can honestly say that I am having a very hard time dealing with this last horrific situation with the NYPD officers. I cant stop crying even thinking about it. I didnt personally know those officers, but I know they were just two police officers doing their jobs and were brutally killed. I know that this could happen to my husband just as easily, especially now that media, race baiters, cop haters and just stupid people have basically placed a target on the backs of officers. I know this isnt the first time that officers have been targeted and/or ambushed and it wont be the last but this one has just touched me to the point of being scared to say goodbye to him when he goes to work. Please try to stop this hatred of the men and women who have chosen to protect us knowing that they may never come home to their families. Please continue to stand up for these men and women when you see/hear people stirring the pot. Most importantly please say a prayer daily for them and ask for their safety. I love you, Felix!
