I have always been puzzled by the hate expressed by some towards Walmart. When I first began my travels on the road as a musician, around 1969 or 70, I ran across Walmarts in various small towns across the south. At first they seemed to be limited to Arkansas and Missouri, but began to spread. I loved them then, and I love them now. But, referring to the hate some people express. Here is an item from todays Phoenix paper, Page A26, Wed. Aug 13, 2014. Walmart and the Walmart Foundation donated 24.7 Million dollars to ARIZONA charities in this past fiscal year. That is one part of 1.3Billion Walmart has given to charities world wide, this past year. How do people justify hate expressed towards a company that does this! I dont get it.
