I have always believed that the contentious policies such as the Australian indigenous policies, foreign policy, marriage equality policy, disability policy, immigration policy and security policies will be seen by some as unfair and at times racist or partial, but in a real democracy like Australia if we are not happy about a policy we protest peacefully and rise awarence on issues that matter. If we are not happy about the outcomes of protest then we use our power to vote and reject to vote for those policies. It is unjustified and uncivilised to resort to violence even in the worest situations because it is simply wrong.
