I have always believed that the most sacred place in the United States is Arlington National Cemetery, and that the most honored place in Arlington is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers where lie the remains of three unknown soldiers (one each from the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War). But did you know that there is also another tomb of the unknowns in Arlington? It is located very close to the Custis-Lee Mansion and holds the remains of more than two thousand unknown Union soldiers who died in the Civil War in the battles to take the Rebel Capital of Richmond, Virginia.
