I have always moved between conflicting feelings with so-called tribute groups. Sometimes the less, I really enjoyed it. The more I have felt (almost) embarrassment. Ive seen really great bands that nailed the essence of a group (especially I remember the Beatles Abbey Road emulating) or Smoking Stones (emulating the Stones). And others that touched the ridiculous (I will not give names, but if any exist). It is a strange world that is becoming more booming in many of our scenarios. I come to mind tribute groups Queen, Pink Floyd, ACDC, U2, Led Zeppelin, etc I think its always commendable initiative to form a band to imitate and pay taxes at your idols. Well from the mere mimicry (handling fees, aesthetic, staging) or from the originality and twist (changing songs, spanning more edges musician / group in question ....). Always with great knowingly love for the artist and affection for his legacy. With that if I take communion. On the other hand, I do not fit in the viewer watches a tribute band that just believing in excess of that mimics and above do business (lucrative) of it. I mean the typical Tribute Group Officer .... And to show a button, here we have the infumables (which, moreover, until they made grace and all) Dread Zeppelin, a band that fused themes of Led Zeppelin with reggae remalazos and the spirit of Elvis decadent ... and asombosamente published twenty albums ... what to do !!
