I have always thought much of Oprah Winfrey as a person. I did not know her whole story before but i watched her Master Class program today. I thought it must be about life lessons and so I decided to watch it. At the very end she talked about exactly what I am going through right now in my life. She said exactly what others have told me, but for whatever reason hearing it from her, right at that moment it really sank in. I think I am no different from others that we all want acceptance from the people in our lives, the ones that are the closest to us. It hurts when we dont get it. In reality I know what and who I am now, today more than ever. It takes some work and tears but in the end nobody has to believe in me but me. When you start to believe in yourself and stop worrying about what others think and believe, your true calling and gifts will come out stronger than ever. Never again will I look for others to fulfill and validate me. Only I can do that. :)
