I have an idea that dysphoria is a social construct conflicting with your internal self 1. Trans women know they are women. 2. Society says women have to have certain parts and look certain ways to be women. 3. Trans women often have different parts, while retaining the idea at some core level that those other parts are what women should have. 4. Result is dysphoria, body does not match the socially imprinted meme of woman while the mind and heart knows she is a woman. Also this does not mean trans women should ever be denied any kind of HRT or surgical options. Such powerful constructs are difficult and for some impossible to overcome and there is no shame in not being able to deconstruct these to the point of internalizing the reality that it is 100% ok to have a penis as a woman. This hypothesis is the only logical explanation i can think of as to why some trans women have dysphoria and some do not.
