I have an older laptop that I use when Im not at home to work as needed. It is soooo slow and appears to be almost out of space and yet, I have few programs on there that I can tell I need (some stuff Im just not sure about to know if I can delete it) and no docs as they are all stored on an external drive and google drive. I just pulled out the restore CDs but Im nervous...do I take the plunge and do it?? Is there any risk to doing so? I need the computer to be emptied out and I have the CDs I need for the programs I use. Ive never done this before...not sure if theres anything I need to consider that I havent thought about.
