I have an update on the ALTRA Olympus shoe and its just a personal observation. I took them out for a hour and a half technical trail run and they felt awesome. Legs were fresh before, during, and after the run. Had some good climbs, but nothing to write home about. I would not use the shoe again on a wet technical course. They arent designed for it my opinion. The soft wet ground underneath was difficult to keep a good footing. When running this type of trail in wet conditions I would highly recommend the ALTRA Lone Peak shoes its what they are designed for. The ALTRA Olympus are perfect for road and non-technical and dry running surfaces. Perfect for those, but again if wet and technical go with ALTRA Lone Peaks. Just my humble thoughts.
