I have an urgent prayer request by a woman in Texas. Her husband is in critical condition and his name is Jack. Below please read her message. Well, friends, a lot has happened in the past eight hours. My husband had his radiation treatment about 12:45 today and I made his lunch when he returned home. He ate a bit of it and immediately pain began in the stomach area. I called the doctor and was told to take him to the emergency room right away. To make a long story short - he was taken to surgery at 8 PM. His bowel had perforated. During surgery, they repaired the hole and had to get the debris out of his colon/intestines. Then they had to do a colonoscopy - and I dont think I need to explain what that is. That is about all I can tell you at this point, other than he will be in the hospital for about 10 days. Because he has had chemo, infection can set in all too easily. We, my daughters and sons, will learn much more tomorrow. He is in intensive care now and probably will remain there for a couple more days - just to keep a watch on him. What not taking his radiation and chemo for some time now....I dont know what to expect. Please, prayers. God bless each of you.
