I have another kind of veteran to thank today. A veteran veterinarian. Thank you Dr Arsenault from the Riverview Animal Hospital for saving my boy Hades. Hades required 2 hours of surgery. Which I was told, had it not been Dr Arsenault doing the surgery, would have turned into 4 hours of surgery. They couldnt count the amount of stitches taken, it took 3 packages of 8ft each. Thats 24 ft of stitching. I was scared he would not survive this freak injury. Amazingly 7 months later, Hades is as if nothing had ever happened. Hes got one bad ass scar to remind me daily of how lucky I am.
