I have another puzzle for someone who can read Lithuanian. A dogeared picture book titled Dainava was found in my grandfathers house a few years ago. The book includes photos of Lithuania I presume from the 1950s. Beautiful countryside and architecture. Many smiling faces at folk festivals, working in the fields and industry. From the condition of the book it was looked at frequently, presumedly by my grandfather. . There is a note on the inside cover. I have frequently wondered who it was from and what the note expressed. Any ideas or thoughts?
