I have arrived back in Detroit from my trip to Charlotte to see my son following his kidney transplant. This journey was supported with the prayers, blessings, and words of encouragement of many, many friends and family. Chriss surgery went well. The kidney is not rejecting, and although his numbers are not where they need to be yet, we are very hopeful, and the doctors feel that things are going as expected. He was even able to attend his sons elementary school graduation yesterday, even though he had to wear a mask to keep all those little kid germs off him. LOL! Thank you to all our customers who took advantage of the Go Yall sale that helped finance the trip, and those of you who sent a few dollars to help out! I was so touched. Special thanks to Cynthia Hood for the hook up with the buddy pass! The flight both ways was smooth and I even got upgraded to first class on the return! Youre the best! Thanks so much to my hubby/partner Ty for holding down the business while I was gone. Thanks Maggie Baughn for running the studio production alone this week, the hats look GREAT! It takes a village and I truly thank all of you in my village for your love and support and mostly for your prayers, they truly work!
