I have arrived home. Left Delhi yesterday by car to the airport at 9.30am, caught the plane to Kuala Lumpur with a 3 hour stop over. Left KL at midnight and arrived in Melbourne this morning at 9.30am. I was pleased that we didnt end up in the Bermuda Triangle I must say. Caught the train to East Gippsland at 1.30 and the bus at 5.30 arriving home at 7pm. I am exhausted from not sleeping much last night, although it was a quick flight, surprisingly, and it all went well. In 3 days I went from 8 degrees and raining heavily in Srinagar, to heat and dust and 34 degrees in Delhi to arrive home and find it is raining and cold here. boohoo.... I missed the best part of autumn. Heading straight into winter. i want sunshine. The very best part was arriving to find that most of my things have been packed by a friend. I am moving next week and will rent a house of my own. I was not thrilled by the prospect of packing as I had only just unpacked where I am. I found that all the difficult stuff has been done. Far more than I could have expected. This will be an almost pain free move now. woo hoo,,, I was thinking on the way home if I would continue to stay in East Gippsland or just put everything back into storage until I have the income to move to the city... preferably Sydney, but Melbourne will do. Finding my apartment packed up decided me to take the new house for the time being. The hard work here is done.. and the new house has great energy. It is on a clifftop with steps down to the beach and walks through the bush on the clifftop. The house has good bones and I can make it gorgeous with my things. Just a shame it is not a good area for business. Or for massage therapy. Or for fun. Or..... ^_^
