I have become a statistic. I was knocked off my bike this evening (07/10/14) at approximately 19:40 by a red hatch back type car (possibly the new style Vauxhall Astra or new style Ford Focus) at the corner of the Layton Institute club; the drive drove straight off leaving me on the floor. I have been checked over at A&E and fortunately only cuts and bruises; however I cant say much for my bike at the moment! If anyone was in the area or knows the people in the black car that stopped to see if I was Ok, please can you get in touch? I am also making a statement to the Police tomorrow, as hopefully there is some CCTV in the area that would have captured this moron who decided to pull out in front of my right of way on the road I was already travelling on, and then turning left with very little notice for me to brake or react!
