I have been Torah observant for more than 15 years. In the beginning, finding other T.O. folks were few and far between. Hardly anything about my newly found belief was available via the Internet, and out of 500,000 in our metro area there were only a handful of T.O. believers. As we see the end of days rapidly approaching, there are literally millions worldwide being drawn to Torah by our Father. As our number grows, our adversary is sticking in his nose and splitting our family over relatively insignificant differences of opinion. How weak are we if we allow Satawn to do this? Yet it happens every day. Those who separate themselves from the family over minor disagreements miss the very purpose of our fellowship together. Do NOT get caught up in minor issues that divide, but rather look at the heart of your brother or sister who is called to the same goal and purpose of the ages. He has called us to His family, NOT to have us stand alone because we make mountains out of mole hills and squabble over insignificant and barely visible matters. These splits and divisions bring great weakness to the (supposed-to-be-one) body. They are usually rooted in our arrogance and pride, the very things that our Father bemoans over and over and He HATES! Proverbs 6:16,19 These six matters יהוה hates, And seven are an abomination to Him: (19) A false witness breathing out lies, And one who causes strife among brothers Matthew12:25 And יהושע knew their thoughts, and said to them, “Every reign divided against itself is laid waste, and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. 1Corinthians 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? We enter into this life alone, and we will leave alone. Likewise, when we stand before the great white throne, we will be judged alone. You have the responsibility to search and research His Word and then follow what you believe to be right and true. But you are also called to build up your brothers and sisters, and how can you do that if you are not gathering together with them? He expects -- NO -- He DEMANDS nothing less from us! Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. 1Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
