I have been a tad on the grumpy side. I know, it is hard to tell because when I am grumpy I make bad jokes. It is hard to tell when I am stressed, because I make bad jokes. When I am in a good mood, I make bad jokes. Hmmmm.. maybe just all of my jokes are bad. Anyways, on Wednesday, I had a heart full of anger and hurt, and I don’t like that, so I went to church. Best place to go when one is sick is to the doctor, and the best doctor is God. He can heal anything. Pastor Irl pointed out some passages in James 1. The crazy person I am went home and reread all of Chapter 1, and now I think I need to read this chapter every day. Thanks for the reminder Pastor Irl... :) James 1: 2-6, 12 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
