I have been admonished for not sounding off on this affair in Ferguson. So, here are my thoughts. The original stories of Evil cop shoots poor, defenseless child for walking in the street vs. Crazy kid shot after assaulting officer and trying to take his weapon were both so ridiculous that I had to kick back and wait for more information to emerge. The public response to the shooting has been a colossal display of ignorance and is not worth discussing. It was a tragic and unnecessary event and there are many unanswered questions. The current evidence supports officer Wilsons version of events and Mr. Browns demise was a direct result of his actions. An individual that will attack an armed officer in a marked vehicle is a danger to the community and must be apprehended. I believe he turned and charged the officer after breaking the initial contact. Wilsons marksmanship makes me think that the fatal wound was an unfortunate accident. He was in an extremely high stress situation and had just been smashed in the face by a 300 lb man. Im still curious about the total number of shots fired and the distance between Wilson and Brown. I have verified and checked stories to the best of my ability and started my journey from a position of neutrality. Apologies for my verbosity.
