I have been asked over and over by a bunch of my Android junkie friends and iPhone fan boy friends, what I think of the new iPhone since I bought one. Quick review of iPhone for those who want to know my opinion. The good. -The 6 is by far, the FASTEST phone Ive ever owned (coming from the Galaxy S5 to iPhone 6).. without a doubt. -Also, the best looking phone (personal opinion) and the perfect size (also opinion). -The camcorder (not camera) is the clearest Ive ever seen. 60fps and insanely clear, awesome. -Siri. I love you. Please switch to Android... that is all. -Finger print... FAR beyond what Android is currently doing with finger print. Love it. -Being able to quickly access specific applications, even from lock screen. Incredibly handy. I can pick up my phone and have the camera open and be taking pictures in less than 2 seconds. Literally. -Takes pictures faster -Find my iphone is nice, although there are equal alternatives for android, but you have to download them. -Sync to iPad/Apple TV etc is nice -Most of the setup (in settings) is rather simple and well explained -Double tap (not push) physical button and you can reach the top of the screen easy.. very nice. I think the Galaxys have a similar feature. The bad. -Very disappointed in the camera (not camcorder) though. Despite the reviews Ive read, the camera on the S5/Note 4 absolutely crushes the iPhone... I have done/seen a TON of pictures this weekend with both, and the Galaxys absolutely crush the iPhones camera. Without a doubt. Ill argue this with anyone. -Camera flash... what flash? -I cannot stand the keyboard. I would compare it to the original droid, or worse. This may be partially to personal preference or what Im used to.. but that keyboard is probably a deal breaker for me. I have an unhealthy level of hatred towards it after this weekend. Im exploring other keyboards, but they do not have voice to text with the other keyboards. #2StepsBack -My iPhone has locked up on different screens multiple times and often, Ill be typing something, just to realize it wasnt recognizing it, even though the cursor is flashing where the text should be... faulty phone? -The voice to text is an absolute joke. Siri is awesome and recognizes my words fine, but the voice to text recognizes less than half of what I say.. also worse than original droid. -Speaker is not very loud. -The GPS is no bueno. Download google maps.. still need to figure out how to set GM as default maps.. if possible :/ -Many apps cost money, when they were free on Android. -Phone is expensive, insurance is more expensive
