I have been asked why am i helping towards Maggies vet bill, The answer is simple in my eyes, When i chose to buy a horse from the factory or rescue a horse from the road they instantly become part of me, Maggie was given to a wonderful young lady who had spent every penny she had on new tack, chiropractor, feed everything Maggie needed, Maggie was by name and book no longer mine but my responsibility to Maggie didnt stop the day she was given over, Now people can call it how they want, I call it real rescue, Over the yrs i have kept contact with them all, yes even our own ponys who were sold on when the child outgrew, In a perfect world all horse people should keep track of everything they sell, breed or rescue, This is a back up for my loaned ponys, Yes they can spend out there days in there new home or god forbid for any reason the horse or pony can not be kept then they will come home. In maggies case she would have come home to retire, To live out her days. But himself upstairs called her home before this could happen leaving a good few broken hearted people, no one more so than her parents Amanda and Len, They do not need to be worried about vet bills , They are still so hurt that Maggie has gone, I have taken over the bill for Maggie to try and take away a small bit of pain to help in anyway i can, Just as being there every step of the way call me a nose cow if you will for wanting to talk to the vet, for holding my girl, yes my girl as she always was, for supporting Amanda and Len through such a tragically early parting of there child but i wont change and the bill has to be paid. So to you begrudgingly prats, Get out of rescue, go back to the hole you crawled out of and hide your head in shame. Tonight i will sleep soundly as i have a very clear conscience where all of my Animals are concerned .
