I have been blessed with several Best Days of My Entire Life, such as marrying my husband, meeting my babies for the first time, blah, blah, blah... BUT....today marks one of the coolest days EVER for me! I was just given written permission by George Straits team (attorneys AND head manager, Erv) to use Mr. Strait in my childrens book featuring Laverne Sue Spurlock. It has been written for a while, but I had to go through legal channels before I could have George drawn by the illustrator and Laverne save his bacon on the rodeo stage. Ha. Just received the email from them, and I dont know what to do first: scream, faint, fall on my knees with thankfulness, or puke a little. I think I need a new pair of boots to celebrate!
