I have been blessed with wonderful dams, and Aurora, despite being the youngest, is among the best Ive had. Last night I had said good night to the puppies and turned the lights out. A few minutes later I went back for my phone and heard sucking noises in the dark, coming from the puppy pen. Switched the lights on to find Aurora had hopped in to let the puppies suckle. Shes dried up and been telling them their milk privileges have been revoked, but occasionally will still indulge them.
