I have been challenged to a five day movie Extravaganza! None - TopicsExpress

I have been challenged to a five day movie Extravaganza! None other than the Wildman of LA School Teachers, and the SCA Kingdom of Caid, Mr Chuck Olynyk Noris, has laid this challenge at my feet! I have to lay out five memorable films over a five day period that I have seen, and explain why I believe they have a message that should be shared. In addition to this, I am to extend invitations to five friends each day to the same challenge. I am not sure I know that many film buffs, but I will do my best. I extend invitations to Bart, Michael, John, Mark, and William. My movie of the day is Gettysburg. In the late war between the states, many heroic battles took place, fought by brave, and sometimes afraid men, who nevertheless stood to their duty and honored their respective nation; in whole, the American Nation. Gettysburg was but one battle in the war, yet while not being the deadliest of battles it gives examples of courage, duty and honor. This clip is my favorite scene in the movie where the 20th Maine was low on ammunition, had repulsed a CSA attack on their position, and was expecting another assault. The order came down from the Colonel: fix bayonets and then they charged to meet their foes, and wrote a new chapter in US Military history.
