I have been criticised directly and indirectly for my political - TopicsExpress

I have been criticised directly and indirectly for my political views, statements and for sharing information which I believe was worth sharing on my page. I stand by everything I said and make no apology other than to admit one small mistake. During a heated debate with a former fb friend I was called a numpty and consistently asked if I thought he was a bigot - I ended up replying by saying he was one of a few things, including a bigot and asked him to decide. That was a bit too strong and then when pushed further I said hell yes if you are calling me a numpty I am calling you a bigot or something to that effect. Things got a little out of hand there but passions were running high! I am sorry to see one if not the most influential political figures of our time standing down. I am talking about Alex Salmond who has fought the election campaign admirably, loyally and with dignity. He delivered on all his promises as far as I am concerned. I condemn unionists rioting in George Square, Glasgow last night who reputedly burnt a Saltire! I am a Protestant who supports Rangers and always has done as far back as I can remember. I oppose everything to do with The Orange Order and other fanatical so called religious groups. Apart from signing and sharing petitions to check for fraud and foul play during the referendum, I will no longer be posting things of a political nature to do with the indyref - not at least for the foreseeable future!
