I have been dealing with a doctors office on a charge we did not know about until the collection agency sent us a letter last week. This charge was for Alishas back surgery back in November 2012. Insurance denied the charge as a non-covered service/experimental code. Doctors office tried to get us to pay the difference. I prayed the Lord would make a way for the doctors office to write it off considering that was sitting in insurance mode all this time and we did not get any notification about what was going on. As far as we knew the bills were all paid in full. We did not get any notifications on any outstanding bills waiting for insurance to respond....we called to make sure we had everything paid off and were told we had a $0 balance. I have been dealing with this for 2 days now. I have called Insurance and they verified the denied code and said they will send the letter to me and talk to the doctor for a new code to process or write it off. A short time after I talked to the Insurance company, the doctors office called and said they WROTE OFF the charges we owed and that we DO NOT owe them anything!!!!!!! Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so thankful the Lord heard my prayers!!!!!! We have been financially blessed.
