I have been engaged on creationist vs evolutionist debates for some time. Evolutionist believes that life is self-created. This is as per the literature penned by Darwin through theory of evolution, natural selection, adaptation etc. Richard Dawkins contributed through The Blind Watchmaker, The Extended Phenotype, The Selfish Gene . . . and his latest installment of the same, The God Delusion. Of course theories advanced are infallible as neither can prove or disapprove the Beginning of the Beginning. Both evolutionist and creationists however do believe in one underlying common denominator – that life and creation are as a result of systematic intelligent design. My concern however is not the above, but self-imposed limitations by Christians on who God is. God is not confined to earth and heaven. Check our position in the milky way and the gigantic distance in terms of earth miles between two extreme points. universetoday/65601/where-is-earth-in-the-milky-way/. Leap to another galaxy eg Andromeda. Multiply that by a billion galaxies to form our Universe. Multiply our universe by a billion to get a multi-universe(s). By using billion I am trying to be modest or otherwise its quadrillion or something not yet calibrated. The enormity of God is both inconceivable and incomprehensible! He is beyond our daily ASK of pair of shoes, healing for our infirmities, finding a job etc as most us portray him to be. I rest my case
