I have been feeling that this surround sound experience allows us to rekindle our love for the magical powers of music, in immersive ways that can touch us so unexpectedly. In my case, its also been a very potent reminder of why I originally loved doing this so much. Bringing back the idea of experimenting and forging into new, uncharted directions; like with the presentation of sounds, as well as a very open-minded selection, not being limited by preconceived notions of what it means to listen, and being forced to focus on one specific genre. It also points the way to what I should really endeavor to be doing for the next few years.
