I have been feeling very low and almost desperate with everything - TopicsExpress

I have been feeling very low and almost desperate with everything that is happening lately , Im sure we ALL feel the same. Its just so heart breaking. I read this post on another page and it gave me somewhat comfort, only for the fact that I felt it was as if the prophet (peace be upon him) is talking to us and telling us what to do, in a time that nothing makes sense any more. From The Salafi Feminist During these last ten days and nights of Ramadan, as we watch the world falling into chaos around us, is an important time to remind us of the words of Allah and His Messenger regarding the minor and major signs of the Last Hour. {The Prophet (ﷺ) said, Time will pass rapidly, good deeds will decrease, miserliness will be thrown (in the hearts of the people) afflictions will appear and there will be much Al-Harj. They said, O Allahs Apostle! What is Al-Harj? He said, Killing! Killing!} (Bukhari) This is a time of fitnah, increasing as the hours go by, a time when turmoil is befalling the Ummah just as rain falls upon the Earth, as RasulAllah (sallAllahu alyahi wa sallam) described. While it can be tempting to argue about which signs have already occurred and which have not, what is most relevant to us, to our safety - both physical and spiritual - and that of our families is to remember what RasulAllah advised his companions to do: {There will be soon a period of turmoil in which the one who sits will be better than one who stands and the one who stands will be better than one who walks and the one who walks will be better than one who runs. He who would watch them will be drawn by them. So he who finds a refuge or shelter against it should make it as his resort.} (Muslim) {Worshiping during the period of widespread turmoil is like emigration towards me.} (Muslim) In these last ten days, more than ever, we need to beseech Allahs protection for ourselves, our families, and for the Muslim Ummah at large. {Allahummah inni a’udhu bika min ‘adhabil Qabri, wa min ‘adhabi-naar, wa min fitnatil mahya wa-lmamat, wa min fitnatil masih ad-dajjal. O Allah! I seek refuge with you from the punishment in the grave and from the punishment in the Hell fire and from the afflictions of life and death, and the afflictions of the false messiah, ad-Dajjal.} (Bukhari)
