I have been fighting #Skype since August about fraudulent charges that were made to my account, and they REFUSE to reimburse me. (This is the 2nd time this has happened, causing me huge problems both times Ive had to close my bank card, whilst living abroad.) If someone hacks your account and makes purchases, you might as well kiss that money goodbye because they dont care. #BankofAmerica issued me a credit in September, and Skype somehow fought my dispute providing them with compelling evidence that enabled BOA to take the money back out of my account. Skype is now telling me because I was already issued a refund from my bank, theres nothing they can do to help me. They have my money because they fought my bank, they have admitted that these charges were fraudulent, I have the proper documentation proving that the charges were made without my consent, and still I cant get a refund. The charges were made from a false company called Skype Manager in Luxembourg. There is no phone number or address by which you can contact Skype directly, so you must continually fill out verification forms online, which I did - 15 times - to no avail. I finally demanded to speak with a manager in the Skype live chat option, and now hes refusing to reimburse me and sends me follow up emails weekly to see where I stand. Im at a stand STILL because both companies are claiming they cant do anything for me. Thankfully, my lawyer is on it, and I will deal with this in court if I have to because now its about principle. Just a warning to you all, avoid this if you can and STOP using Skype! #Skypesucks
