I have been following Joshs story for a couple days. Didnt know until I read THIS that he has adenovirus. That was the wicked virus that Lily had when she was one and ended up in the PICU for a month. It was an awful time. I will never forget when she went into complete respiratory distress shortly after arriving and all the people who rushed in to save her. I remember the big struggle to get oxygen into her system because her lungs were not functioning well even with forced oxygen via machines. I am obviously happy that she pulled through on her own. I hope the drug helps Josh and others who get hit hard by adenovirus.
