I have been following the Lisa Congdon vs. Cody Foster situation closely. As I mentioned in a previous article on The Art Edge, Jezelbel recently broke a story concerning artist Lisa Congdon and copyright allegations that she has claimed against Cody Foster & Company. Long story short, Lisa Congdon claims that Cody Fosters Nordic inspired Christmas ornaments infringe upon several of her illustrations. The story surrounding the alleged infringement has gained momentum. We can all learn from this situation. That said, I cant help but wonder if there is more to this story.
