I have been fortunate enough to have spent the last 2 and a half weeks with a dear friend Susan Dennis. We have gone to a bachelorette party, visited with more dear friends, (Debbie Bobbitt, Michele Waldman-Bacon), shopped, had long late night visits, attended a beautiful wedding, travelled to east texas (Jasper) to my home place, hung out with dear friends Ive known since first grade forward(Diane Martindale Williford, Charlotte Dominy Edwards, Lynn Oates Babin, sang karaoke, had incredible BBQ ribs and an incredible brunch out at Westwood at Sam Rayburn Lake with Kathy Woods, David & Lana Drake, Davey Drake, travelled to my brothers home (Frank (Monroe) Whitehead, visited with his family (Kerry Whitehead, Kayla Crane), fell in love with his granddaughter (Kenzie), visited with my first born and her family (Tammy, Kevin, Blake & Spence) watched my youngest grandson (Spence- who is an incredible player!) pitch five inning of his high school baseball game (they won 5-2), ate delicious seafood, had a great lemon drop martini with Kerry Whitehead & Susan Dennis, and returned safely to my incredible husband (Mark Viktorin) earlier this evening. I am forever grateful to the Good Lord for all the blessing He has bestowed upon me... Btw, Im really getting in to this retirement thing! Did cha notice?
