I have been fortunate enough to treat many veterans and active duty soldiers over the years. These are some of the kindest YET toughest men and women I have ever met. A retired Navy MD was one veteran I will never forget. This is the letter I received from him before moving back to Kalispell. Of all your Hamilton area patients, no one dreads your departure more than I do. My ailments that you have treated successfully ranged from bilateral foot tendonitis to neck pain to shoulder spasm. Even more impressive was how you have corrected my faulty posture of 68 years through your suggesting multiple deadlifts and squats using proper technique. My posture is much improved, I’m breathing deeper, and haven’t had even a twinge of low back pain in over a year. I’m now a big fan of having a strong core and butt! With all this improvement I should be hunting and fishing for another couple of decades. You are truly a Renaissance man who has mastered his profession with techniques as old as alternating heat and cold and as new as dry needling. You have integrated your knowledge of anatomy together with the proper functioning of all the component parts much better than did any of my medical school professors. There is no need to wish you ‘Good Luck’ in your new venture. The people of Kalispell will value your presence as much as we did. Accept the Navy tribute ‘Fair Winds and Following Seas’.
