I have been given number 8. These are things you may or may not know about me. Like my status and I will give you a number. 1.I was born at Hillcrest Hospital, Merewether (a suburb of Newcastle.) 2. I was given my maternal grandmothers middle name, Ann and have no middle name myself. 3.I went to The Junction Public School, Newcastle Girls High and Newcastle College of Advanced Education. 4.I graduated as a teacher at the end of 1979. Unfortunately I didnt get a job offer until 1986. 5. I worked as a Clerk for the Attorney generals Dept at Newcastle Courthouse from 1980-1986 where I met some lifelong friends. (I love you Bernadette Nash) 6.I was appointed to Broke Public School in 1986 where my teaching career began on a composite 1/2. I spent 6 years there then transferred to Wentworth P.S. (on the junction of the Murray & the Darling) I spent 4 years there and then transferred to Young PS in 1996 where I still am today. 7.I met Phil when he was in the Navy in 1987. When he got a job at the Pipeline in Young, I transferred here and we got married at the Captain Cook Weir. 8.I love all kinds of music. When I was a teenager I was a member of the Skyhooks fan club and my friends and I went to every concert we could-Sherbet, Hush, Ol 55, Skyhooks, Rod Stewart, ELO, Paul McCartney & Wings, Elton John,Queen and the list goes on. Concert going remains a passion (as does attending Newcastle Knights footy games-when I can!)
