I have been going to be with my friend who is in the hospital everyday after work, I gave her a bed bath, combed out her ratted hair from lying in that bed, brought her coffee everyday but one, sat there and tryed to comfert her for 2 hours one day and 2 hours the next. Then one day this week she asked me to come but I had to get home after work to cook for my kids and wash my scrubs for the rest of the week, so I didnt go one day and she tells me I am not being a true friend . So I told her I would come the next day. Showed up and spent 2 hours with her. She asked me if I could bring her a few things the next day so I said ofcourse and I would be bringing my kids along. Gas ran out of the jeep so I told her I couldnt stay becuase my jeep ran out of gas coming to see her those days. so I took my husbands car and told her I could only stay a few minutes to get the car back home so my husband could get to work. I let her know I would come to see her again after her surgery. As I stood over her hospital bed with all the things I brought for her she told me she cant be friends with me anymore and Im not respecting the fact that she is alone and scared in the hospital. I would be a little more understanding that she is just having a hard time in life right now but this isnt the first time she has acted like this to people. 4 days now she has bashed my ability to be a friend and played a HUGE Guilt trip on me the whole time while I tryed to be there for her the whole time. She pretty much kicked me out of the hospital room. I tried.
