I have been hesitant to put this out there but I feel that I have - TopicsExpress

I have been hesitant to put this out there but I feel that I have alot family who live in different parts of the country and friends whose parents that know my parents and I want to let you know if you dont already know what is going on. My dad has been sick for the last couple of weeks with what we thought was just a respiratory infection. Last Saturday, we had to rush him to SJMC ER because he couldnt breathe. We have found out in the last couple of days he is much more ill than we ever expected. He had been doing so good and then bam, he is in ICU. He has a very bad heart valve that is inoperable at his age. This is a very difficult time for all of us and if you could keep him and all of our family, in your prayers I would appreciate it. If you want to contact me or your parents would like to know anything, please feel free to private message me and I will get in touch with you. I know my mom has contacted very few of their friends and if you were not one of them or heard from the ones she has called (as this is very difficult for her obviously), please feel free to call me or my sister, Cathy Barcome Deitsch, if you would like to. My dad and our whole family has been blessed with so many wonderful friends and family in our lifetimes I feel it is only fair for you to know before it is too late and a shock when his time comes. To make light of this, when his time does come, I had ask the doctor if we should call for the last sacraments to be given and he felt maybe it would be a good idea as we dont know if he will recover from the pnemonia and fluid retention in his lungs and around his heart. Little did I know that had already been done on Monday and I had it done again. My brother said he had a pretty good chance for a speedy pass to get to heaven. Therefore, I will end on that. Thank you so much for any prayers you can send his way. Patti, Cathy and Tom
