I have been in a dark place . My mind wont let me rest . War and the horrible pictures have made me turn off the tv and stay away from the internet . The death of Robin Williams was devastating to me . Some of you will think why , he isnt your family ? He is like family because he has been a part of my life forever . Always making me laugh or cry depending on the movie or sitcom or interview . He too struggled with a depression that I know all too well . We cover it up , we put on our tortoise shell to hide our soft hearts . Depression is a very real disease . No amount of money or famous status can change that . Robin was brought to our attention because he was a celebrity . Yes , its called NEWS ! It keeps the news stations in $ . No they wont have a commentary on my parents death or my friends deaths because the majority of people who watch the news dont have a clue who my family & friends are . But its ok with me that they show interest in what I consider an amazing man . Robin was a kind heart , charitable to the homeless and hungry . I get him ! I just guess I needed to express my feelings and hopefully jog others feelings . ~ Namaste ~
