I have been in the Amiens the capital of the Picardie state in France. It is about 120km north from the Paris, and it takes 1 hours by the train. The city is referred to as The Venice in France, because it has a wonderful scenic view which consists of streams, riversides and canals. The weather here is cool and dry, it is fairly similar to that of early fall in Korea. The most famous place in the city is The Cathedrale-Amiens(in French), a Gothic cathedral, 800 years old. It is quite difficult for me to speak in French. French people dont make learning a second foreign language compulsory, so I feel like a dumb person. (They are definitely proud of their country, and culture.) I really miss my friends, and my country Korea. Take care of yourselves, and have a great day. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 프랑스 아미앵 이라는 도시에 2달간 지내게 되었습니다. 파리에서 120Km정도 떨어져 있고, 기차로 1시간 정도 밖에 걸리지 않습니다. 나름 프랑스의 베니스라고 불리는 곳이며, 도심 곳곳에 수로와 하천조경이 잘 되어 있구요. 날씨는 한국의 선선한 가을 날씨이고 기온은 23도 정도, 습도가 매우 낮아서 지내기는 쾌적하네요. 가장 유명한 곳은 사진에서 왼쪽에 보이는 아미앵 대성당 이구요, 거의 1300년 초반부터 시작된 역사로 보아 800년 넘게 이어져 온 유서깊은 곳입니다. 살아보니... 프랑스어 참 어렵습니다. 우리나라처럼 의무적으로 제 2외국어를 하지 않아서(자국에 대한 자부심이 엄청남...) 무조건 프랑스 어로만 의사소통을 하는데. 거의 꿀먹은 벙어리네요... 한국.. 많이 그립네요, 페북 친구들도 많이 그립구요. 다들 더운 여름날씨에 몸 조심하시고. 원하는 바 성취하며 보내는 하루하루 되시길.
