I have been keeping track of HB 235 through the bill tracker on the governments website. It appears to have made it to the Senate appropriations committee unaltered. I encourage any one that is friends with us to contact their legislators and ask that an amendment motion be made to leave the KHLCF budget intact. If the bill passes without modification it could be a crippling blow to the viability of the services KHLCF provides. I would encourage everyone to let the senate and house know how important the KHLCF is to Kentucky and how paramount it is that they receive their standard budget rather than the drastically reduced one that is proposed so that they may continue to help preserve our natural resources for future generations.
