I have been listening to a wonderful Christian, Apologetic, and philosopher named Ravi Zecharias. He was asked about the Law and moral law and that Christianity has no law but grace. He quickly responded that Jesus did not come to do away with the law but to raise the law to a higher standard.."you have heard it said but I say unto you..." He said however, "the law is a mirror that we look into to identify our sins, but we cannot rub our face on a mirror to take the dirt off, there must be something greater to cleanse us..." Grace!
